Maybe I'm just afraid

Afraid of what I feel

Somehow keeping everything inside

Makes it not seem real

Maybe I just can't

Let it out to show

Everytime I have

It seems they have to go

Maybe I just ignore it

And hope it to go away

That's why when you're around

I never know what to say

But all the maybes in the world

Won't change what I know is true
